Getting started
What file types can I upload?
Xcelify accepts PDFs, JPG, PNG, and HEIC files. You can also paste a screenshot directly into the upload area. For best results, make sure the table is well-lit and in focus.
How do I define columns before scanning?
Open any project and go to the Schema tab. Add column names, choose data types (text, number, date, etc.), and set validation rules. The AI will use this schema to map extracted data into the correct columns.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Xcelify runs entirely in your web browser. Native iOS and Android apps are also available for camera-first scanning on the go.
Credits & billing
How do credits work?
Each scan uses one credit from your account balance. New accounts receive 5 free credits. After that, you can top up in increments of $10, $25, $50, or $100. Credits never expire.
Why was my payment declined?
Payments are processed by Stripe. Common issues include expired cards, insufficient funds, or bank security blocks. Try a different card or contact your bank. If the problem persists, email us.
Can I get a refund for unused credits?
Top-up balance is non-refundable, but unused credits remain in your account indefinitely and never expire. See our Refund Policy for details.
Scans & exports
The AI missed some rows or columns. What can I do?
After a scan, review the results in the verification view. Low-confidence cells are highlighted — you can correct them before exporting. For complex or heavily skewed images, try cropping closer to the table or retaking the photo straight-on.
Can I export to CSV instead of Excel?
Yes. After verifying a scan, choose either .xlsx or .csv when exporting. Both formats preserve your column structure and data types.
How do I merge multiple scans into one spreadsheet?
Open a project's Master Sheet tab. Append verified scans one at a time, or map columns across different schemas before merging. The last 5 versions are automatically backed up.
Account & security
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
Go to the login page and click "Forgot password?" We'll send a secure reset link to your email.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Documents are processed securely and are never used to train AI models. We support enterprise-grade data handling. For more details, read our Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Account → Danger Zone in your dashboard to initiate account deletion. This will permanently remove your projects, scans, and personal data.
Integrations
Can I send results to Google Sheets?
Yes. Connect your Google account under Account → Integrations, then choose "Send to Google Sheets" after verifying a scan.
